Thanks for the welcome, Barbara! No, I could not make ACOG this year. You may know my name from Roberta and Bruce, as we have conversed over the phone. I am a huge fan of ObGynNet having tried (with frustration) to originate a very similar web site for the past year and a half. I strongly believe the dissemination of information as exemplified by ObGynNet is helpful to society and will see its growth within two years.

I've been asked to spearhead Internet/Medical Informatics for the Long Beach, CA Medical Association as well as for one local hospital's medical staff. In developing a program, I intend to use ObGynNet as a paradigm, and hope to swing some contracted work your way in developing programs for both the public and physicians.

In the meantime, when I see a response that helps inform and decrease anxiety for a patient. I will from time to time simply put in writing topics I repeat for patients almost daily for years. My patients will benefit as well.
