Town MeetingFrom: Roberta (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 May 1997 20:27:49 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Ladies, I know I'm so politically uncorrect... Since Barbara abd Darcey are both out of town your stuck with me. ;-) So of course I'm taking over in a big way. I want to have a Town meeting on the Forum and I want you all to participate. There are several issues I want to discuss and I'd love to hear yours. What features would you like to see added that would make Women's Health at OBGYN.net more valuable to you on a daily basis? I want to start a new column called HerStory on thw Women's Section of OBGYN.net:http://www.obgyn.net/women/women.htm I think it would be interesting to publish case stories from the women who have lived them. What was the problem, how was it treated, your feelings, the outcome. That sort of thing. Or human interest perspectives of how certain conditions affected your life. Or something you learned that you found particularly helpful. I realize at times there will be reference to misdiagnosis or less than perfect, or downright bad, care which is part and parcel of the stories. We want to hear it. The only caveat is this IS OBGYN.net So this article section is not a platform for blatant doctor bashing. So enough said on that subject. I really would love to get some stories to put up. The Doctor's side is looking too good lately: http://www.obgyn.net/medical.htm and we need to show our colors!!! :-) I want the members of the Women's Health Forum to get involved in the evolution of their website like the doctors did. I think that is why it is so great. Would we want webpages for women like the doctors? See: http://www.obgyn.net/scripts/dbml.dll?template=doc&edit=yes How about a calendar of events? See: http://www.obgyn.net/scripts/dbml.dll?template=calendar What about special Forums like Pregnancy, Endo, Menopause? Medline Access? Let's talk about it here on the forum and see what everyone thinks. Regards, Roberta
