Thanks Bleeding after a pap is not uncommon, depending on when in the cycle the pap was done and how the pap was done. In my pratice we ues a Cytobrush (looks like a mini toilet brush or bottle brush), so the little bristles often cause a bit of spotting. In my practice, we do not routinely do a pregnancy test unless 1) the woman requests one , 2) her period is late and she hasn't been reliablly using contraception, or 3) she feels pregnant on exam
