I am going through the process and diagnosing whether I have Endometriosis or not and would like to know (in English) what it is and can it be cured? My doctor tried to explain it to me but unfortunately, he doesn't have the greatest bedside manner and could not explain it in terms that I would understand. He told me that the only known cure at the moment is a hysterectomy. But I know several women that have this and have found other methods to deal with the pain. Most of them went on the pill and that took care of the symptoms (mostly). I am already on the pill. I didn't start getting the pains until I switched from DepoPreva to the pill. Any advice and/or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!
