I haven't heard of this, either, and neither has my office partner. I would wonder how one would distinguish between a reaction to the medical substance (estrogen, nicotine) and the vehicle (glue, patch material).

Dr. Shanahan, you seem to know all the answers--are you sure you didn't sneak a few years of RE in along the way? :-)
