Still worried about ectopic pregnancy?

I was pregnant with spotting and had a blood test done at my doctors office. It came back with a very low level of Hcg. The next day I started bleeding heavier and went in for a transvaginal US. The US showed nothing in my uterus. I shoud have been 5.5 weeks. I was told I lost the baby and I should bleed heavier for awhile but otherwise be fine. Now I am worried that since I didn't bleed as heavy or as long as a normal period, that I could have an ectopic pregnancy. My normal periods usually last 7 days, and have a heavy flow. The only exception to this was my last MP in April when I didn't bleed heavily or for as long as normal. My last pregnancy ended at 24 weeks in January because my daughter had a sacroccygeal teratoma. The 2 MP's I had between her birth and my light April MP were very heavy. I don't know if that info makes a difference but thought I would voice all my concerns. I do have a Dr.s sppt. for the 30th, but I just wanted some advice before then as to whether I should be worried or not. I haven't had any other pain or anything, just the lack of heavy bleeding. I really appriciate this forum. I have received great advice from all of you. Thanks, in advance, for all your help.
