"Crap shoot" is a pretty good way to describe it :-)

Some doctors will wait 6 months, some 3, and some feel if the surgery was complete, you don't have to wait at all before starting ERT. In my own practice, I usually wait 3-6 months before starting a woman on estrogen if she had extensive endometriosis (by extensive, I mean on the intestines and the bladder)
