My 16 year old just finished her 3rd month on Ortho-Novum 7/7/7 and for the past 2-3 weeks has been very tearful and down. There is no other reason for her to be depessed such as breakup with boyfriend or family problems. Just wondering if she is having this side effect because of her age. Also, how long do the effects take to wear off so she's back to normal?. We'll look into some other form of birth control. This has been a real downer!
