Please don't forget about the strong mind-body connection. I have seen depression manifest itself in many strange ways, particularly in women who are used to being strong and self-reliant. A thorough psychological evaluation would be helpful to see if depression is causing or contributing to your condition. Good luck finding answers; I hope you're soon on the road to recovery.
