Re: antiphospholipid antibodiesFrom: MO (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 20 May 1997 09:52:51 -0500 (CDT)
Oops, the more I learn the more I realize I don't understand. I was told that there are only two labs or so that do a "full APA panel" (but the 16 ithems the two doctors mentioned seems pretty close). One is Dr, Mantzner's (near San Diego) and one may be A Dr. Beer's. Yet I wonder, do they do something that other labs don't? Is it that they test for some things others don't? Is it the method of testing? I realize that there are differences of opinion on infertility techniques and I try to keep an open mind, but it has been just impossible to get someone to tell us what makes these labs so good. It means all the more because I have to decide whetherto trust the test results if I get the APA done here in Japan. Thanks!!
