Also as bad as it got, there was always someone who was so much worse, so I never felt sorry for myself. I just accepted it all, and sought the best treatment available.

Though most on Witsendo are antihysterectomy, I chose that route, after great soul searching. I feel good about my decision, because I was given all the pros and cons of the surgery when I announced my decision. My RE only gave me the pros. I definitely felt better informed, because of this group. Emotionally, I can't begin to tell you, what this group has done for me. I'm a nurse, but in nursing school, endo is only touched upon, never studied. Though my coworkers were supportive, no one really understood the pain and fatigue I was experiencing. They saw it, with every movement I made, but really didn't understand it. They too were under the assumption, that a hysterectomy would be a total cure. I know, it's possible, that even with the hysterectomy, it's quite possible it will return again. It's scary to think that, but I'm not sorry I at least gave it a sh!
ot. I ended up needing a bowel resection, so feel, I have done everything I can to do what's best for me. >
