Dear Kelly, Spotting is worrisome, but does not always predict miscarriage. Do you know what the heart rate was? If it was counted by M-mode and if the Crown-Rump length was measured, then that might tell us something. Let me know if you have those measurements. Good luck, and try not to worry.
