My OB/GYN had similar advice. He also told me something new that has helped with the weight. He said, that although I should drink enough water and low fat snacks, don't go overboard to make yourself feel full (many have told me to drink 2-3 glasses of water to feel full before eating). My M.D. said to let your body get used to not having to feel so full/bloated all the time. Just a new way to look at it I thought. And I am walking 3 miles per day. Thanks again for the input. I think this is such a great idea and helpful to so many! Holly P.S. Re: Smart OB's that you mentioned - I did send my cousin (Neurosurgeon) an e-mail that the OB's were putting the Neuro departments to shame with this site!
