>P.S. When I read your replies to everyone's questions. I am always moved by >how kind and understanding you are. You never talk down to women, but to >them. (Which of course many other doctors do too). Then I read the article >on you Roberta, I believe, wrote saying you went to Bryn Mawr. It figures. >My university, St Andrews, had many JYA students fron Bryn Mawr and I have >many friends who went there. They are just like you. I wish there was a >university like that in Britain or even better I wish they had a medical >school. I want to enter medical school next year and would like to enter a >school like Bryn Mawr. Thanks again Sharon. Thank you very much for your compliments -- they have brightened an otherwise stressful day. Bryn Mawr was a wonderful place to get my undergraduate education -- it taught me to think critically, accept new ideas and that we women can -- and should -- do anything we want. Good luck to you in your journey to becoming a doctor. It's a long road with many twist, turns and bumps -- and a few "bridge out ahead" days :-) If it's what you really, really want to do, then GO FOR IT. Perhaps Dr Malcolm Griffiths can give you some pointers on medical schools in Britian.
