Cesarean section is a low risk for the baby but is 3 to 5 times more risky for you than a vaginal delivery. Risks of operative & post-op complications including fatal issue. And it's a lot easier to recover from a delivery than from a laparotomy.

If you are eligible for a vaginal delivery in reasonable conditions please don't refuse it.
