negative pregnancy testFrom: Nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 8 May 1997 18:20:07 -0500 (CDT)
I have taken 2 home pregnancy test and also had a urine pregnancy test at the doctors almost one week ago. All have been negative. The doctors asked me to come back in one week (4 days to go). All these test were taken in the last two weeks. I am experiencing many signs of pregnancy: missed period (last one was March 19th), swollen breast, nausea in mornnig and if I forget to eat, light contractions (feeling in very bottom of my stomach as if I'm going to start, but I don't), and mood swings. My question is can you be approx. 6 weeks pregnant and still have a negative result? Do some pregnancies not show positive on urine test? Could there be other reasons I'm having all these symptoms? I am very frustrated at this point. We were not planning any more children, but have gotten excited with the thought of another. I feel very pregnant, but science is saying I'm not. Please help
