Re: ColostrumFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 6 May 1997 14:18:22 -0400 (EDT)
Karen, I didn't experience ANY leakage or note any colostrum throughout my entire pregnancy, but breastfeeding went fine afterwards. It did take a couple extra days for my milk to come in, but most likely as a result of my c-section (praying you don't have one, but if you do, keep this in mind to avoid unnecessary anxiety! :-) Wishing you the best for the rest of your pregnancy and your delivery. Your little girl will be here before you know it! Darcy Co-Moderator, Womens Health Forum In a message dated 97-05-05 09:05:46 EDT, you write: << I am currently 33 weeks pregnant. Everything that I have read indicates that there will probably be some leakage of colustrum either prior to this point or now. However, I have not had this problem. Does this possibly mean that I may not have an adequate enough milk supply to breastfeed? >>
