Lake Tahoe, CA Dear Dr. Shannahan, thank you again for your prompt reply. Yes I have had an hsg and my tubes are wide open. The gyn. I was seeing at that time, put me on clomid 50 mgs. I feel this is a waste and I was wondering if there was any other way to see if my tubes are 'functioning' properly. Also, if my tubes are not working, why then don't I ever get an ectopic pregnancy? Could you explain what damage to the inside plays on egg travelling? I hear they can do a laparascopy to check the insides of the tube? Are all cases of PID surgery failures? Thanks again, Tam
