Tam All of us doctors can probably recall one or several cases of successful pregnancy after tubal reconstructive surgery. However, if tubes have been damaged by PID, sometimes the problem is not just that the tubes are closed, but that the infection caused damage to the *inside* of the tubes, so that they do not function properly, even if they are open. Have you had a HSG (dye study) to make sure your tubes are still open? Are you seeing a reproductive endocrinologist (infertility doc)? Good luck to you.
