Curious . . and ConfusedFrom: Annette (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 01 May 1997 09:51:59 -0500
History: Infertility x8 years, BBTs, 4th month on clomid (100 mgs days 3-7) I have taken my BBT everyday (just about!!) for the last 5 years. It rarely fluctuates from the normal pattern. However, this month I have a curious problem. I am presently at day 5 of my cycle. I began my period on April 27th with a BBT that morning of 98.3 (normal post O temp for me) I had slight brown spotting. The next day with a temp of 98.1 I had some flow which ended that same day. Now for the next two days my temps have still been way above my normal pre-ovulation temps and I have had no more period. This morning my temp was again 98.1 - at this point in my cycle my temps should be about 97.3. I'm confused. My question is: I have read that temps will sometimes stay elevated when one has a corpus luteum cyst present. Is this something that is common on clomid? Should I be taking the clomid while my temps are still high? Are there any other symptoms of a cyst that I can look for? Thanks for your advice!
