Dear Doctors, Amy wrote to us on April 9th asking the following questions...I think she, "passed through the cracks" as can well happen on a forum like this....So she asked us to re-ask the following: Thank you, Barbara Nesbitt What could be the possible causes of "double" periods or irregular menstruation?"Double" meaning: two periods if 5-6 days separated by 3 or 4 days of non-menstruation.Irregular meaning 30-40 day cycles. Read other articles and decided you might need more info on previous question. Am 24 yrsold. Have had one child via c-section, 2 laparoscopic surgeries for infection and adhesionsat incision site and have been breastfeeding for 13 months. Daughter is almost weaned. Ihave spoken to my doctor and he seems to think the irregularity is due to my nursing. Wewant to get pregnant soon and can't figure out what to do. Feel like I have been bugging theDickens out of my doctor, any ideas?? THANKS.
