Mind you I agree totally what is said here about BBT and fertile window.. But I do not agree with RELAX I have suffered from secondary infertility for 3 long and painful years and listened to the doctors about RELAXING... I found out I had endometrosis and have very long an painful cycles. But NO I RELAXED well that probably put me off finding out what was really long. I agree with some forms of Relaxing .. you don't want to put your whole life into Baby this and baby that cause take it from me it will drive you insane. Although I truly believe in finding out about your body and learing about it. Get the book Taking Charge of YOur fertility by toni Whesler it's wonderful.. you will thank me ;)

|We humans are not precision machines and all sorts of things can affect
|our cycle length -- like stress. Sometimes, you might not ovulate and
|this can make you have a longer or shorter cycle.

|Basal body temperature graphs are a good tool to see when you usually
|ovulate. Because your temperature does not go up until the day after
|ovulation, it can't be used to predict ovulation in htat particular
|cycle. Urinary ovulation predictor tests are often useful, but they are
|expensive.

|One thing that's important to think about is the "fertile window". Recent
|studies have shown that conception only occurs during the 5 days before
|ovulation and the day of ovulation (day of had the most pregnancies,
|followed by day before, then 2 days before, etc). You could use BBTs to
|figure out, by looking at your last 3 cycles, when you usually ovulate
|and then have sex during the "fertile window". Or, if you don't want to
|wait until you have 3 months of BBts, do the ovulation predictor tests --
|follow instructions exactly.

|When you think about the logistics of this tiny little egg meeting up
|with this really tiny little sperm that has traveled from the vagina,
|thru the cervix and uterus and then down 1 of 2 tubes to find that 1 egg
|(especially considering how men are about asking for directions ;-) ),
|it's pretty amazing anybody ever gets pregnant! My advice to you is to try
|to RELAX. I am dealing wiht infertility myself, so I know how hard that
|advice is to follow.

|Good luck!
