Chronic Vulva(r) InflammationFrom: Melinda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 21 Apr 1997 21:31:14 -0500 (CDT)
My mother is an obgyn nurse practioner. (Forgive me if my terminology, spelling or etiquette is lacking--I am completely out of my element here and wading through the best I can.) Mother has a patient with chronic vulva inflammation. Patient experiences an intense burning sensation and is sensitive to the touch Sounds like vulvadynia and I've gathered that info I've found at this site. However, I said I'd post to a discussion group, so I'm posting. This patient apparently also has no redness, itching and my mom says that everything looks okay (literally, not figuratively). The patient's pain is also farther away from the vaginal opening than many of the descriptions I've read so far. Comments, ideas, suggestions or other would/will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
