abdominal painFrom: Deanna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 18 Apr 1997 09:22:35 -0500 (CDT)
I have been experiencing abdominal and pelvic pain for about 6 months. I have been cultured for the regular organisms (gon., chlam., trich., and general bacteria)several times. I have had a sonogram done. I have had a laprasopomy done - the only thing that showed up was a slight adhering of my ovary to my colon - which was taken care of. I have been placed on several different antibiotics as well as yeast creams - yet nothing seems to work. I also experience inflammation and redness of the pelvic region. I have been told my cervix is ok and even pursued the colon region. The colonoscopy also came back clear. I recently went through the internet to a Dr. Paul Fugozzatto- a medical researcher for the Cystitis Research Foundation. He found bacteria and put me on a different antibiotic, - although I am not sure it is working. I have also had blood counts taken and an Aids test both negative. I am at a loss. What should I do next?
