Shini,

Although I am not a reproductive endocrinologist, I am somewhat familiar with this problem. When testosterone levels are elevated, it is usually because of problems with the adrenal gland, the ovaries, or both. Sometimes other masculinizing type hormones are elevated as well. You will need a good pelvic exam and some basic hormone testing done in order to make a proper diagnosis.

Depending upon the diagnosis, you may or may not be able to acheive normal hormone levels before you attempt pregnancy again...for example there is a common condition called PCO (polycystic ovaries), where you may have to get back on Clomiphene in order to ovulate and when not on Clomiphene, a birth control pill may be prescribed in order to keep your cycles regular.

Be sure to see either a gynecologist familiar with fertility issues OR a reproductive endocrinologist in order to properly diagnose and treat your condition.

best regards,
