Siegel, M.D.: "Re: hysterectomy" I have all the classic symptoms of endometriosis. I just had a laproscopy and no endo was found, but the doctor said he removed some peritoneal cysts. He described one cyst as being free-floating and a jelly-like consistancy, about the size of his thumb. We are waiting for the biopsy reports now. What is a peritoneal cyst? (besides a cyst on the abdominal lining). It wasn't the cysts on my ovaries, he left those alone.
