Is Norethindrone the 'mini pill' (progesterone only birth control pill)?
My doctor's office keeps referring to this as a common side effect from
starting birth control and to give it some more time to clear up. To be
honest I've wanted to start back on birth control since my daugther was
born but all other birth control pills have really given me bad side
effects, as far as mood changes are concerned. This is the first time
I've felt 'good' taking a birth control pill.
But if I'm understanding correctly, having continual brownish discharge
is NOT supposed to be a side effect from taking this medication? My
doctor did mention that the only other treatment would be endometrial
ablation but I'm reluctant to undergo any type of procedure unless it's
necessary.
Any advice?
