Re: GYNECOLOGIC: Why would I begin bleeding before finishing a course of Provera?

By the way, I meant to clarify: When I say I did have heavy periods I meant only on the 2nd day with just a 5-day bleeding episode (hardly bleeding toward the end, thus the dr. said it was OK. I also realized I was not using the most "powerful" pads so maybe heavy was not heavy enough to be a problem.) I don't think they were officially classified as heavy by anyone.

And when I say I was bleeding for 15 days recently, most of those days were what you'd call mild spotting only with nothing heavy on any of the days; maybe a period-like flow at the beginning but not what I was used to.

In the past when I took Provera once it was for NO periods; that was before I had kids; I've never had extended bleeding/spotting till now. Thanks and sorry for being wordy. I also, remarkably it seems according to what everyone else complains about, never get more than the mildest cramps, if any, so I've considered myself problem-free, with a minorly variable cycle being the only issue I've ever had. I've had four kids with no problem becoming pregnant. Just wanted to add some history if it helps.
