MENOPAUSE: D and C - Frequent Urination

I had a D and C three weeks ago. The doctor removed a few polyps and said the procedure was without incident. I found out after the procedure that I had a catheter inserted once to empty my bladder. I haven’t felt 100% since and mostly I'm having problems with urination (frequent emptying). No pain, blood or discharge, just a full bladder. Frequency is usually 4 times from morning to night. Now as soon as I go and get up, I feel like I have to go again. And do. Always have a flow. Also, I have a hot/cold sensation – almost the feeling you get when you are just getting sick with the flu. Doctor did a urine dip and said that I had a trace of infection. She gave me 250 mg of cipro for 3 days. I felt almost myself again. Two days later, all of the symptoms came back again. This time I’m on 500 mg of cipro for 7 days. I’m into day 4. I feel slightly better, but not 100% and the frequency is the same. My doctor keeps saying ‘everything should be fine’ and she ‘doesn’t know ‘why this is happening’ and that it could be the IV fluids still coming out (3 weeks later?) or still irritation from the catheter. Nevertheless, I don’t feel well. Sorry for the long post, but I’m pretty freaked at this point. If anyone can offer any words of wisdom, it would be truly appreciated.
