Earlier this week (July 09) I had sudden onset abdominal pain which was ultimately dx as a perforated uterus. The IUD was removed through the uterus normally, as it did not leave the uterus. The day after the removal, my white count went back to normal and i was discharged from the hospital. Since I have been home I have had pretty constant bleeding--heavier than a period and bright red (3 days). I am still feeling quite nauseous and under the weather. A. Is this normal? B. Do I run the risk of pregnancy/birth issues in the future? C. Should I have been put on antibiotics ? Thanks. I'm going to the doctor in a few days.
