PREGNANCY: Question about future pregnacyFrom: tropicalsnap (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 21 Jul 2009 09:13:21 -0500 (CDT)
Here's my short history. My first son was born at 33+1 weeks due to pprom (No known cause..healthy pregnancy). My second pregnancy was a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks. My third pregnancy was full term and my son was born at 38 weeks exactly (only complications were hypothyroidism and kidney stones). My doctor watched me closely with my second son and put me on pelvic rest when I was 32 weeks as a precaution. I was just wondering for the next pregnancy.. is it likely or not that I will be watched a little closely again? Thanks for any thoughts.. Also do you know what the percentage/chance is for developing hypothyroidism again during pregnancy? I had it with my second son! Thank you!
