Tumors are either benign where its removal solves all the problem or malignant that usually will need treatment after its removal. However, some organs produce a kind of tumor that is malignant in appearance of the pathology but is benign in its behavior from the clinical point of view; these what we call them locally malignant or border line. They have good prognosis, usually do need extra treatment after surgery, only follow up.
