GENERAL: Stinging after sex and irritationFrom: Anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Jun 2009 08:43:13 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I'm 31 and married, no kids. I think I may have Vulvodynia although no Doctor can really diagnose. I have been through the usual tests of yeast infection, STD's etc all clear. I've had itching and a stinging/raw feeling in the past when stressed, but lately I can't have intercourse with my Husband. My vulval skin feels so irritated and dry and even when I apply lubricant it stings the skin. Then when my Husband enters, it stings so bad we have to stop. It's really upsetting me as I want to be with my Husband and the discomfort on my vulval area is terrible. All the Doctors say is the usual - remove any allergens, use more lubrication, reduce stress etc..but it's not helping. Any other suggestions please?
