I wanted to update the situation--I just had the ductogram done and the results are negative for any abnormality. The only thing I have achieved is making the lump from the stereotactic biopsy turn pink and feel bruised now ( a month after the stereotactic biopsy was done). So I have negative mammogram, negative ductogram and nipple bleeding from one duct only ( with expression) for over 5 months now. I know be is gonna want to do the duct excision ( not total duct excision) now. I am really confused now about why it bleeds if there Is no abnormality and why I need the duct remowd if nothing is showing up. I do have a lump below the areola and it is near the trigger point. My husband says the breast is smaller than the other breast (smaller than it was) since we had sex last Time which was 2 years ago. I am 33 yr old with 2 kids and I am healthy other than some Kind of hormonal issue that causes lots of menstrualspotting (hypertrophic endometrium has been ruled out). I am not sure what the next step should be although the dr said I had an extensive duct system and the tech said they put a lot more dye in me than what they normally are able to. If that means anything?
