Last week a colposcopy showed 2 areas of severe dysplasia on surface of
my cervix and also going into the endocervical canal (ECC). I have a
LEEP scheduled next week. This was my first abnormal Pap. I have had
yearly paps for 20 years. I'm now 33. Is there still a possibility of
invasive cancer? Also, not sure if it matters, but 9 years ago I was
diagnosed with a hepatic adenoma and now knowing risk factors of
cervical cancer; yes, I am a smoker.
