MENOPAUSE: Perimenopause and ultrasound for fibroidsFrom: Kaggie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 29 Mar 2009 23:06:39 -0500 (CDT)
I am 38 mother of two about a year ago my dr said I had PMDD and put me on Zoloff, doing other research I believe my other symptoms are perimenopausal. She wants me to have an expensive pelvic ultrasound for fibroids because I have long periods 7 to 10 days. I never had regular periods and they were usualy short until after the birth of the second child and had my tubes tied. Then they becam very regular and increasingly longer. Is an ultrasound necessary? Why after having my tubes tied would my period become regular?
