GENERAL: Strange lumps in groin areaFrom: Someone (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 26 Mar 2009 18:58:26 -0500 (CDT)
I'm a female in my mid twenties and have been having an issue in my groin area for several months. I keep getting these really big, painful lumps in the creases of my legs in the groin area. They present themselves as somewhat small and hard, then tend to get bigger and bigger and stay hard. Sometimes they go away on their own but most often the lump surfaces and is completely filled with pus. The pus continues on for quite a while, I continuously have to wear bandaids on them to catch the pus as well as to stop the area from rubbing on my clothes which insanely hurts. Once the pus finally clears up, the skin is really sensitive and raw. I cannot stand for anything to rub against it or touch it. Often after the pus it seems kind of like the skin is "caved in" in that area. I haven't the slightest idea what the deal is with these things. I just want them gone for good. Any ideas what this could be?
