PREGNANCY: Got a fourth opinion am I on the right track now?

I have irregular bleeding that starts on cycle day 17 and continues daily until my actual period starts. Ultrasounds are normal and my OB put me on Prometrium. That helped the bleeding but I got pregnant last month and it ended in an early miscarriage. Yesterday I saw a new OB for another opinion. He feels that I'm not ovulating regularly and when I do my egg quality is bad. He says I need a cycle day 21 progesterone level drawn and then if it confirms his suspicions next month he will start me on Clomid and progesterone. He says I probably should have been on Clomid and progesterone this whole time and not just progestereone.

Does this finally sound right? This is my fourth opinion. THe first OB said my uterine lining was too thin. The second said it was too thick. The third had no clue. I'm confused. I've gotten pregnant twice before with no problems or medical help and delivered 2 full term babies.

Thanks!
