MENORRHAGIA: missing periodFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSat, 21 Mar 2009 01:53:17 -0500 (CDT)
I am 29 years old and have always had problems with very heavy monthly periods. However within this past year my periods have become rare - about once every 2-3 months. Now around the same time this started happening my doctor prescribed symbyax (prozac and olanzapine). Could my lack of a menstrual period be a side effect of the drug. Does it mean that I'm not fertile anymore. I had two pregnancies in my early 20s....is there any chance I can get pregnant again. I have been pregnant twice when I was 19 and 20 but the babies were lost during the first trimester. Am I going through menopause? Will I be able to have children?
