By your description, you may be thinking of Lichens Sclerosis.I am glad you are feeling better. To diagnose this ,a small biopsy is done after numbing the area to be tested.Also , a blood test called Hepres Select can be done to test for Type 1 and Type 2 Herpes Simplex.Jo Ann NP
