PREGNANCY: Will shingles affect sperms?

My husband is current having a shingles (not very bad one), and we're planning to conceive, so my concern is that will the shingles affect the sperms and later possible pregnancy? I did some search online, and saw a post saying: the viral protein will go through sperm and affect the baby. Is this true? or it's just better we should wait for him to recover completely before trying to conceive? Thanks a lot, and your answer will be greatly appreciated!
