Sinnce you have already lost the weight, I still think it can be approached by laparoscopy so that you don't have to mess with the hernia atall. There may be adhesions, but they can be taken care of. Also I feel that you should have a total laparoscopic hysterectomy and not leave the cervix with a past history of LEEP.
