The difference between the two pills is that Loestrin 1/20 Fe has 7 placebos and Loestrin 24 has 24 active pills instead of 21 active pills and 4 placebos.Both are good pills .Loestrin 24 has shortened the pill free interval. You may have shorter cycles with the Loestrin 24 but the other pills can be taken that way as well. JoAnn NP
