MISCELLANEOUS: High Testosterone

I went to my OBGYN a few months ago to discuss abnormal hair growth that began when I was in my late teens. First fine hair on my face, then it got thicker and now it is practically unmanageable. I also have thick hair on my lower back, on my stomach going down to my pelvic area, on my forearms, and on the inside of my thighs. She took some blood work in the afternoon and my testosterone level was high.

TESTOS F/LCMS 7.6 Reference Range 01.-6.4 TESTOS T/LCMS 87 Refernce Range 2-45

She sent me to an Endocrinologist who preformed several tests including an ACTH Stim test to test for NCAH. I just got back my test results (wasn't given details) but was told that I don't have NCAH (ACTH stim test questionable b/c doctor gave cortisone injection then took blood 30 min post injection. He did not take blood prior to injection, nor at the 60 minute post injection) but that my testosterone levels are still very high.

I will be having an cats can performed on my ovaries and adrenal glands. I have been ruled out from having PCOS via ultrasound several times in my life. Could there still be a possibility? I have a small cyst (1.5 cm) on my right ovary discovered six months ago that my doctor felt was complex but just filled with tissue and blood and would disappear on it's own. I highly doubt this is the cause since I've had issues for years.

What will they be able to find using a Cat Scan? I just had a pap done a few months ago and it came back fine, should I still be concerned about ovarian cancer?

I am 29 years old, I have one child but struggled with fertility to achieve pregnancy.

I have tried birth control in the past to regulate my periods which helped, but never helped with my abnormal hair growth.

I'm just wondering what could be going on. Any views would be great.
