EVERYTHING: fluid around the ovaries after birth and teenage undiagnosed PCOSFrom: samantha982 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 22 Jan 2009 00:25:22 -0600 (CST)
Hi there, I've been reading other stories on fluid around the ovaries. I was told I may have had PCOS when I was 13, this was not diagnosed. I had a baby in August 2008, and after the birth (naturally no complications during pregnancy and through the birth) I had an ultrasound 21 weeks later as I started getting serve stabbing pains in my abdomen with increased dramatically within these 5 months after birth. I was told today I have a huge mass of fluid around my right ovary... no periods yet, They also said there is a hard spot in my ovary ?? no one knows what this is and cant tell me anything... I'm not on any birth control, and the ultrasound tech said today that I still have the follicles on both ovaries... and I noticed that as she don’t the ultrasound my right ovary was so tender and painful.....any ideas as no one can give me a straight answer about any of it > Thank you
