Starla Sounds like premenstrual spotting and the crampy pain can be from the tubal. As you age and your hormones get a little more irregular, you can get some spotting just before the period. As the tubal ties off your tube and the tube peristalses, this can lead to some pain around ovulation and menstruation. You can take ibuprofen or naproxen at this time to try to alleviate the pain...Dr. von Almen
