Mindy A second opinion is what you do need.First, I would ask for another derm referral .If these are scars ,they often can be removed.If you formed Keloids then you need to ask to be sent for a Keloid evaluation.There may be a need for a plastic surgery referral to help you but get a second dermatology evaluation first.You may ask for a referral fo someone who specializes in scar revision.
