GYNECOLOGIC: 5cm hydrosalpinx but clear hsg

Hello
A pelvic ultrasound I had in July revealed that I had a 5cm hydrosalpinx
on the right side. I had an HSG to check for patency of the left tube,
but it was found that both my tubes are clear. Can any of you helpful
people help me to understand what this means? Is it possible for it to
have disappeared - if so could it come back? Or could it have been
misdiagnosed as a hydro instead of an ovarian cyst?
