Dear D,

If your MD is not able to EXCISE all of the endo at the time of the FIRST surgery, then find someone who is able to do so. Do NOT subject yourself to more than one surgery. In a trained MD, this can all be accomplished in ONE surgery!

If the Dr. is trained, s/he should be able to remove all disease. Some may call in a surgeon trained in operating on the bowel, while some GYNs are trained to excise the disease from the bowel as well. I had endo on my bowel, and my Endo Specialist was able to excise it from my bowel.

Again, do not subject yourself to more than one surgery. There is no need to do so if you have someone who is trained to excise the Endo.

Good luck to you!
