PREGNANCY: Cervical polypectomy during pregnancy

Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnancy and my OBGYN performed cervical polypectomy in my 5th week due to bleeding/spottings. For the first week post polypectomy, I had bleeding and spotting and from the next week onwards, I have this muddy colored, foul smelling white discharge. Sometimes the vaginal discharge is in clumps (but always brown colored). OBGYN had ultrasound perfored at 6 weeks 4 days to see how the embyro is doing. They even found the heart beat during U/S. The vaginal discharge sample taken at the time of polypectomy was even tested for any infection and results came negative.

My question is should I assume the muddy colored vaginal discharge to be due to polypectomy (even though it was performed 2 weeks back) and if yes, when should I expect it to become normal? Is it normal to be smelly even after polyps removal? Can the bleeding due to polyp removal cause any infection that can harm the baby now or later? How can I make sure that the baby is not affected by this? Pl help as it is eating me up every day and I am worried.
